Three boards, one region

North Florida opens its 2026 season this week. Recruit Intel built three verified boards for the region: the best player at every position, the recruits holding real offers with no star rating anywhere, and the programs producing the most Division 1 offers. Every number below comes from our canonical database and is stated with the sample it rests on. One note on the map: our North Florida region follows the database tag for the Jacksonville and Gainesville corridor. After a mid-August boundary update the Panhandle, from Pensacola through the Tallahassee metro, moved to its own region, so schools like Niceville and Pine Forest are not counted here.

The best at every position

One player per position slot across the 2027 through 2029 classes. These ten hold 272 verified Division 1 offers between them. Offer counts are distinct college offers, re-verified against the current roster on 2026-08-17.

The Bolles School, out of Jacksonville, supplies the board leader: edge rusher Asher Ghioto at 69 offers, uncommitted so far. Mandarin fills two of the slots, receiver Brysen Wright and Miami-bound corner Knox Annis, and running back Caleb Mattison leads the skill players with 61 offers and a Syracuse pledge. Two names sit on the board for production rather than volume: linebacker Cohen Cioffi (Bradford, 4 offers) and athlete Anthony Jenkins (Gainesville, 7) hold their slots on the blend of on-field production and offers that ranks every skill position, not offer count alone.

The recruits the rankings have not caught

These ten hold 79 verified Division 1 offers between them and carry zero stars on 247Sports, On3, Rivals and ESPN as of 2026-08-17. It is a ratings gap, not a discovery claim: the programs recruiting these players found them first. All ten are 2028s.

Sidney Smith and Christian McGowan share the top of this board at 11 offers each with no star at any service. Mandarin and The Bolles School each place two names here, the same two programs that anchor the position board and the producer board below.

Recruit Intel ranked the region's top 10 high schools by offers produced across their 2024 through 2027 classes. Across those 10 schools sit 63 recruits holding 799 Division 1 offers between them, an average of about 13 offers per recruited player.

The Bolles School runs away with the region at 163 offers across 12 players, and the same program produced the position board's leader in Asher Ghioto. Bishop Kenny is the efficiency outlier, 74 offers from just 2 recruited players, with RB Caleb Mattison the driver.

How we counted

Every number here comes from the Recruit Intel canonical database. Offer counts are distinct college offers per player rather than raw offer rows. Every player named on the position board and the unrated board was resolved to a single database record by id before publish, then re-verified against the current roster on 2026-08-17 for class year, school, offer count and star status at all four major services. Common names return many separate records, so we never match on a name and school alone.

The position board is the best player at each slot across the 2027 through 2029 classes, ranked on a blend of production and offers, with linemen ranked on offers alone. Tight end is filled the same way this cycle because the region's offer-holding tight ends carry no recorded production to blend. The unrated board is limited to 2028 and 2029 players who carry real offers and no star at any service, and it came out all 2028 here. The producer board counts every offer-holder at each school across the 2024 through 2027 classes.

Two schools moved out of this region in the mid-August boundary update, so the Panhandle from Pensacola to Tallahassee is not in these numbers. North Florida here means the Jacksonville and Gainesville corridor, which is why The Bolles School, Mandarin and Nease sit at the top of the producer board.
