How the board is built

The ranking is the top 10 North Carolina scores by RPM with at least one game in the window, after our standard filters remove merged duplicate records, players our database does not treat as recruitable, and rows with no listed position. We also set aside a handful of players whose listed position sat on the opposite side of the ball from the stat line that earned the score, and promoted the next clean entry in each case. Ties would break to the younger class, then to record identifier. Opponent rankings are our own North Carolina team rankings as of September 17, printed because North Carolina is one of the 14 states where our team rankings are live.
